I am laying here and bed and something pops into my mind! Let me know if you'd be interested in this or not!
I love showing people how i do my hair.. my make up, etc... so I was thinking of maybe making videos and posting them on youtube for everyone to watch? Would anyone be interested in watching them if I did do it?
If so, what kinds of videos do you like watching on youtube? Daily life, make up tutorials, hair tutorials, life lessons, room tours, house tours...etc. Let me know!!
I feed off of your advice & thoughts!!

my best friend

Hey Beauties,

I've been MIA for a few days. I apologize. I went away last weekend, and I've been busy with cleaning and getting some walks in with my dog while it was nice...that didn't last long. I woke up this morning to -29 degrees Celsius, and snow. I was out walking Bella yesterday in a light sweater and capris, with absolutely no snow. Mother nature is confused and needs to go back to bed.
Anyways, I figured I'd let you all into my life a little more and share Bella with you. She is my best friend and I don't know what I would do without her.
Bella is 5 years old and is an australian shepherd. She is one of the smartest dogs I have ever met(and no I'm not being bias) She cuddles with me every night. She has her own pillow and blanket(yes she is very spoiled) She often seems to think that she needs to sleep on my side of the bed on my pillow, under my blanket... not happening dog! lol
I got another dog right before her named Abby. I rescued Abby from our local animal shelter. She was a rottweiler. So adorable, fluffy and small. She hated going for walks and would chew up her leash. I had her for 6 days, and on about the 3rd day I noticed that she had no energy and was getting sick. She was puking and couldn't keep food up...I called the shelter and they had told me that they had a parvo outbreak and all the puppies had to be euthanized. I was distraught. She was MY first pet, and I loved her already. So I took her into the vet that the shelter told me to go to, and they took her blood and came back and said the count was very low and the virus took over and there wasn't much hope in saving Abby. I didn't wanna put her through pain so I decided to euthanize her(keep in mind, I'm like 15 and this is my first pet). The fees were covered by the shelter and I was so upset. I found an ad with these super adorable puppies and I begged my mom. We did a major clean and the owner brought her into my city for me. As soon as I met Bella I knew she was mine. I was torn between like 5 names but as soon as I got her into my arms I knew she was a Bella. She instantly weasled her way into my jacket and fell asleep. She slept like this all the way home, which was about a 15 minute drive. We get home and she got along great with my moms dog. I was ecstatic!
Bella has been by my side ever since. If I'm gone for a weekend she doesn't sleep and doesn't eat. She cries when I come home and we have to cuddle before she stops. Shes the best friend I could ask for!
She is getting older and I notice that her joints are starting to bother her, and her lungs aren't as strong as they were before. She used to be good to go to run our entire walk, now we have to take breaks and that breaks my heart. But she is still as energetic as the day I got her, which is great! She just gets tired faster.
Let me know if you have any pets, and send me pictures! I LOVE seeing other peoples animals, big or small. Not just dogs, got a lizard? A horse? Anything! Send them to me. :)

Hungry?

Hey Beauties,

This post isn't going to be about beauty itself, although it is kind of related. It is about our bodies and how we take care of them. I don't eat the best, I am a clutz so I don't go for runs in the winter, cause I know that I WILL fall on my butt at least once. I have been trying to control what I eat, how much I eat, when I eat, all of those aspects. I make a delicious chicken enchilada..my entire house loves it. Only issue; its so fattening...but so addicting! anyways..
I watch daily vlogs on YouTube, the vlogs I watch the most are ShayCarl, Shaytards, CarlieStyles & HeyKayli. ShayCarl has lots so much weight in the past year and it was all by eating healthier and getting fit. He is my inspiration to get healthy! He ran in a couple of marathons and was only a few minutes away from qualifying for the Boston Marathon. 2 years ago I didn't think I'd ever see Shay run a mile nevermind 26!! So I'm watching his vlog last night, and he starts talking about this documentary called Hungry for Change.. in the back of my mind I'm thinking "obviously were hungry for change, we always are..but what kind of change are we hungry for?" (my stomach is rumbling as I write to you lol)
In this documentary they go into detail about what food companies aren't disclosing to their consumers. There is a lot of things hiding. Blueberry muffins have the same chemical that RV's have to keep their lines defrosted in the winter, disgusted eh?
Then they start talking about aspartame and items that have aspartame in it...I was so upset to see that Iced Tea was on that list...I love Iced Tea. Not no more though! I opted for water today when I could have gotten an Iced Tea(woo! change!!)
I'm not big on added sugar, so I wasn't that concerned when they got to the white sugar portion. They kept comparing it to Cocaine. Your body becomes addicted to sugar, and after you have your first bite of food with sugar in it, you body asks for more and more. What do you do to control that addiction? Do you quit cold turkey, eat very little food since there is sugar in almost everything? Do you slowly taper it, in hopes of eventually quitting all together. Its like smoking, or drinking... you become addicted to it, whether it be addicted to having something in your hand... or addicted to the feeling you get after drinking..
I don't have an answer for that, although the route I wanna take is to taper it off..faster that slowly, but slower than cold turkey... How do I do that? Well I'm obviously going to start reading labels better..not only for their Nutrition Facts, but also for their ingredients.

I vow to you ladies, gentlemen, children, adults..whoever may be reading this right now, to pay more attention to what I'm putting in my body. I promise to become more active. I vow to put that chocolate bar back and grab an apple, or orange.
I'm on the road to healthy...how about you? :)
Lets help eachother out. See a good recipe that is healthy and delicious? Share with me! I will post it for everyone else to see and obviously give you credit, especially if I love it. (Pinterest is an amazing source for that kind of stuff. I spend hours on it every night)

i'm addicted to smells!

Hey Beauties,

I decided today to reorganize my entire bedroom! What a chore that was...
5 hours later and my tiny closet is organized, my dresser is neat and tidy and my fridge is cleaned out (not that I had much in there)
While I was cleaning, I happened to find a bunch of candles... I am addicted to anything that smells delicious. I went ahead and lit about 6 different scents at once... probably the best idea I'd ever had. They all smelt just like the Bath & Body Works " orange ginger" which by the way, my absolute FAVORITE!
The receptionist at my beauty school would always make fun of me, we'd get new products in, and I was the first to check them out.. I don't care what the product is, if it smells good chances are I'm buying it! I've got way too many hair products I may never use, just because they smell delicious!
Do you have a favorite scent? What is it? What product is it? Candle, body lotion, bubble bath, hair product, etc? Let me know! I'm always on the hunt for yummy smelling items! I'm on the hunt for a good room spray so if ya know of any... keep me posted! I'll love you forever ;)

hair dilemma

Hey Beauties,
So as I told you all in my intro post, I'm an apprentice hair stylist which means I change my hair alot. I had long dark brown hair with blonde highlights, long brown with bright pink peek-a-boo highlights. I've had short hair with bright pink bangs.
I am a natural dirty blonde, so going dark brown, almost black, was a huge change for me.
Well, now I've decided I wanna go back to my natural roots, but lighter. I put some blonde highlights in, and "low lights" of my natural color. Once that started growing out I put a crap tonne of blonde in my hair. I am officially happy!
